Department: Commercial Management and Value Solutions (CMVS) is crucial for driving growth, optimizing sales operations, and developing innovative financial strategies. The department focuses on three key areas:
- Sales Governance and Operations:
- Manages and improves sales processes, ensuring alignment across global and regional teams.
- Handles offer validation and integrity to secure expected profitability.
- Value Engineering:
- Collaborates across departments to maximize project value in LATAM, including financial modeling.
- Value Solutions:
- Works closely with financial institutions to raise awareness of the wind industry and develop strategic partnerships, benefiting our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Service Sales KAM team to develop commercial strategies and solutions that meet customer requirements and exceed business goals.
- Collaborate with Service Sales and cross-functional departments to support business development processes and effectively close sales transactions, including navigating various gate stages of the sales process.
- Supervise information, relationships, and inputs from WTG Sales, Service Sales, Operations, and Engineering to produce customer-facing, value-based solutions, proposals, and pricing.
- Evaluate written solicitation requirements and other relevant information to develop comprehensive, compliant proposal outlines. Create proposal compliance matrices, writers' guidelines, proposal plans, and other solicitation-required documents.
- Leverage market knowledge and our Value Proposition to position proposals and commercial offers to win business. Visualize, optimize, and document the value proposition in proposals.
- Plan and oversee all proposal activities, including project cost models, deal economics, guiding proposal tasks to closure, and presenting commercial proposals to senior leadership.
- Provide leadership during the deal review process to ensure all technical risk points, risk mitigation, and business risk acceptance levels are properly incorporated into the scope, cost, and proposal wording.
- Ensure compliance with the Global Service Sales Process and required financial approvals and due diligence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, statistics, engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- Experience in commercial sales and sales operations.
- Experience in the energy industry, particularly wind energy, is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Spanish is desirable.
- Expertise in Excel, including macros.
