JOB SUMMARY: This position is located on the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Soil Survey Office. The incumbent works with the MLRA Leader, Soil Survey Office staff, and State Resource staff collecting accessory resource data on National Cooperative Soil Survey projects and developing coordinated ecological sites MAJOR DUTIES: Applies quality control of the principles of soil inventory and ESD Inventory to soil-plant communities across a variety of land uses (rangeland, forestland, pastureland, and cropland) within the Soil Survey area.
