The Climate Analyst is a critical part of our climate team at the Flagstaff Sustainability Office. They manage our energy programs, industry-leading carbon dioxide removal catalyst project, data analysis, and reporting. This position works on a wide variety of projects, from building electrification in cold climates to electric vehicle infrastructure planning and solar panel group purchasing.

The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office is an energetic and fast-moving team of dedicated and supportive professionals. Flagstaff is a beautiful place to live, at an elevation of 7,000 feet at the base of the San Francisco peaks. It’s a growing and diverse community of about 72,000 people, with access to all that Arizona has to offer.

The Climate Analyst leads projects related to:

Building electrification
Greenhouse gas emissions analysis and inventory
Energy data analysis
Energy efficiency
Carbon dioxide removal
Electric vehicles and EV charging infrastructure
Community engagement
Community-wide climate action
