About
I am Zeinab Harith Mohamed, a committed and detail-oriented GIS beginner and final-year BSc Geography student at Pwani University with a deep interest in climate change, environmental sustainability, and spatial data analysis. My academic background, combined with field experience from my attachment at Envasses Environmental Consultants, has equipped me with practical skills in GIS mapping (ArcMap), environmental audits, and climate-related impact assessments.
I am passionate about addressing the effects of climate change through data-driven solutions and community-based environmental planning. My recent research on reducing solid waste generation in Kilifi County has strengthened my understanding of the link between waste management and climate resilience at the local level. I am especially interested in how GIS can be used to support climate action, risk assessment, and adaptation strategies.
Currently based in Mombasa and open to opportunities where I can contribute to climate-related projects, develop my GIS expertise, and support sustainable development goals.
