About

Strategy:
- Support the integration and execution of our purpose and sustainability into our business DNA by working across functions to develop triple-bottom-line strategies that serve both people and planet. This includes supporting business transformation and change management initiatives to embed impact and sustainability into all organisational functions, operations, and planning.

- Develop the vision and integration of sustainability principles and actions in all pipeline projects.

Net Zero / Decarbonisation Strategy:
- Develop and integrate sustainability strategies across 55 hotels and 4 corporate offices, supporting
decarbonization and impact initiatives. Furthermore, I lead GHG accounting (Scopes 1, 2, 3) and Net Zero roadmap development, working towards SBTi submission.

- Implement carbon reduction initiatives aligned with industry best practices. These initiatives include assisting hotels with procurement of renewable energy, procurement and sourcing initiatives, waste management, and energy audits.

Internal/External Communications:
- Drive internal and external communication on sustainability. This includes leading the internal sustainability education programs for all associates and sustainability reporting for corporate and hotel-level stakeholders.

- Wireframing and supporting the development of impact and sustainability websites across our group and brand.com pages.

Innovation:
- Drive innovation and circularity in hotel operations through our Impact Trailblazer program.

- Sought out innovations in the global impact/sustainability space and seed across the company alongside the Rosewood Capital Ventures team.

Philanthropy:
- Partnered with the Rosewood Foundation to support programs empowering 22 companies, 60+ entrepreneurs in sustainable and circular solutions, including the Rosewood Innovation Series and Entrepreneurship Award, connecting startups to funding, mentorship, and industry networks.
