About
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, majoring in Geography and Environmental Studies as well as Environmental and Sustainable Studies. I furthered my academic journey with two Honours degrees in Environmental Management and Geographic Information Systems, and recently completed a qualification in Sustainable Development. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Sustainable Transitions and Management at Stellenbosch University. Professionally, I have extensive experience in stakeholder management, as wella as implementation and monitoring of projects in marginalized communities. I have served in various roles within the City of Cape Town and currently excel in managing relationships with stakeholders, including local communities, government agencies, and environmental organizations. As much as I might not have gained a lot of experience in working environment, I am knowledgable in environmental regulations and standards; and environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation strategies. I have also initiated and led quite a number of sustainable development initiatives in the communities I work with. Being an executive personal assistant does not limit me into office boundaries, it is part of my job to work closely with councillors, communities and partnering with other governmental agencies, interdepartmental collaborations within the City of Cape Town to organise and initiate sustainable initiatives in the communities.
