Brief note on your experience in Water domain:
Working with Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana as Subject Matter Expert (SME) Water Resources, with 8 + years of experience working in diverse geographical and geological typologies in India. Handled the domain of groundwater development and management based on the concept of aquifers. Hands on experience to work and interact with a wide range of stakeholders such as academic institutions, partner NGOs, corporates, national / international organizations, state and central government departments / NITI Aayog, Ministry of Jalshakti, Ministry of Panchayat Raj, Ministry of Rural Development and local communities to support development initiatives and promote strategic engagements with target Water stakeholders for sectoral development.
Provides technical expertise across various sectors of water resources ranging from water conservation, watershed planning, development and management and sustainability including community engagement.
Instrumental in offering technical guidance on watershed impact assessment, training and capacity building, geological mapping, aquifer demarcation, identification of aquifer recharge and discharge areas. Solely conducts pre-project feasibility and viability studies, impact assessment studies and monitoring and evaluation.
Develops concept note, CSR proposals, theory of change and logical framework analysis.
In the previous position, worked as Researcher Hydrogeologist with the Advanced Centre for Water Resources Development and Management (ACWADAM) known as a think tank of groundwater science in the sector. In ACWADAM have gained the experienced in geological mapping, aquifer delineation and rock type’s identification through diverse geological typologies in India. Coordinated trainings on capacity building of community and civil society institutions working on groundwater management from different parts of Maharashtra and India. Work included conducting trainings and workshops, field data collection, hydrogeological mapping, analyses and dissemination of results for outreach, both the communities and policy makers.
Have wrote decent numbers of technical reports, research articles and reports through work experience in the water sector.
