About
Hello, I’m Trish! I’m passionate about giving a voice to the environment and to the people who protect it. I combine journalism ethics, balancing communication and connections, with business sustainability. I’m an avid believer in the future—making the world a better place in all that I do.
I've recently earned an M.S. in Environment and Sustainability Management at Georgetown University. In addition, I recently served as the Data Gift and Entry Coordinator at EngenderHealth in Washington, D.C., where I managed and oversaw all donation records.
I graduated cum laude from American University in December 2023 with a B.A. in Journalism and Sustainability (I hope you’re sensing a theme). I cherished my time as the Managing Editor of Life and Environment Editor at The Eagle. Guiding emerging writers and tackling impactful, campus-centered stories were among the most rewarding experiences of my academic journey.
Beyond my academic and professional pursuits, I’m an avid SCUBA diver and a coral reef conservationist with I.CARE in the Florida Keys. I am also the proud owner of Mend a Hand: Built with (Re)Purpose (LLC), a textile and clothing repair workshop based in the Washington, D.C. area.
Previously, I worked as the Communications Specialist for Just Ice Tea (Eat the Change), a sustainable snack company founded as a successor to Honest Tea. My earlier experience includes communications roles with international nonprofits such as Migrateful Cookery School (London) and Days for Girls.
