About
Hello!
I’m a communications professional, sustainability strategist, and project manager with 12+ years experience spanning corporate sustainability, social impact, and international affairs. People come to me when they need help:
⭐️ refining how they communicate to different audiences;
⭐️ building consensus and collaboration across key stakeholders;
⭐️ and, ultimately, getting things done!
🇺🇳 Since 2019, I’ve worked with the United Nations Global Compact—the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative—where I led the launch of our SDG flagship campaign to mobilize 1,800+ companies on climate action, living wages, gender equality, and water conservation.
♻️ I also revamped our communications and engagement strategy for our corporate and philanthropic funding partners, helping secure $10 million for programs that guide companies in advancing their sustainability goals. I’ve always been passionate about sustainability and previously served on the board of the NYC Fair Trade Coalition, building a local community of sustainability advocates.
🤝 Prior, I worked at the intersection of diplomacy and academia, managing projects in Afghanistan in partnership with the U.S. Department of State and fostering exchange between scholars in the U.S. and the Middle East.
👩🏫 Additionally, I hold a master's degree in global development policy, equipping me to analyze public policy and its real world implications.
🌎 My multicultural upbringing, as a first-generation American of Swedish and Venezuelan descent, gives me the unique advantage of approaching my work from a holistic and culturally sensitive perspective. Outside of work, I’m a dancer, filmmaker, and vintage fashion enthusiast — and always happy to connect with like-minded people!
