About
Sustainability & ESG Professional | Environmental Policy, Climate Research & SB 1383 Compliance | M.S. Environmental Management | Google Project Management, Google AI & Claude AI Certified
I am a highly motivated and analytical professional with a Master's degree in Environment and Natural Resources, specializing in environmental policy, project planning, and data-driven decision-making. My academic background, combined with hands-on experience supporting municipal sustainability programs at the City of Modesto, has equipped me with practical expertise in regulatory compliance, program data analysis, and cross-departmental coordination.
Currently, I support solid waste, recycling, and organics programs in alignment with California's SB 1383 regulations, including tracking diversion metrics, preparing grant-related reporting, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance. This work builds on a strong foundation from my graduate research, which included life cycle assessments, carbon market analysis, and climate policy evaluation, as well as advanced statistical analysis using R.
To stay current with emerging tools shaping how organizations solve problems, I've also completed Google's AI Essentials and AI Professional certifications, along with Anthropic's Claude AI Fluency and Claude Code 101 certifications. I'm particularly interested in how AI can support more efficient data analysis, reporting, and decision-making across sustainability and environmental compliance work.
I'm eager to bring my background in environmental policy, data analysis, and regulatory compliance to a full-time role where I can contribute meaningfully to an organization's sustainability, ESG, or environmental compliance goals.
