About

I am a meteorologist and climate-focused analyst with multidisciplinary experience spanning atmospheric science, environmental research, digital community engagement, and remote operations support. My work sits at the intersection of climate intelligence, data-driven decision-making, and effective community engagement as well as science and digital communication.

In my recent role as a Meteorologist with the Ogun–Oshun River Basin Development Authority, I collected, validated, and interpreted agro-meteorological data to support water resource and agricultural planning. This experience strengthened my ability to translate complex weather and climate datasets into actionable insights for real-world applications. My technical toolkit includes ERA5, CRU TS, NASA POWER, R, Python, ARCGIS, QGIS and remote sensing workflows.

Beyond technical analysis, I bring strong experience in stakeholder and community engagement. As Community Engagement Manager at 9jaKOPA TV, I managed and scaled digital communities (on WhatsApp, Slack, Facebook, thread, telegram and X) translated complex program information into clear audience-friendly content, and monitored engagement analytics to improve campaign performance. This dual strength in scientific analysis and strategic communication allows me to bridge the gap between technical teams and diverse audiences.

I am particularly engaged in global climate discourse through my work with the YOUNGO Finance and Markets Working Group, where I contribute to discussions on climate finance, carbon markets, and equitable sustainability pathways. I am passionate about supporting initiatives that advance climate resilience, renewable energy adoption, circular economy solutions, and evidence-based environmental policy.
