About
I am a community and climate justice organizer with more than fifteen years of experience building grassroots power across the Northeast and South of the United States. My work focuses on the intersections of housing, climate, and racial justice, particularly for low-income and historically marginalized communities. Over the years, I have led regional campaigns, co-founded a Black-led community land trust, and supported resident leaders to shape policy on housing, land use, and environmental justice.
My core skills include coalition building, popular education, leadership development, and strategic communications. I design and facilitate workshops, trainings, and political education spaces that help community members understand the systems affecting their lives and take effective collective action. I have extensive experience working with faith communities and interfaith networks, integrating spiritual and cultural wisdom into organizing for climate and housing justice.
I am comfortable leading decentralized teams, coordinating multi-city actions, and using digital tools to mobilize supporters and track engagement. Public speaking and storytelling are central to my practice, and I regularly offer talks, sermons, and presentations that connect climate disruption, housing instability, and systemic racism. I am committed to long-term relationship-building, intersectional analysis, and developing leaders from directly impacted communities so that the solutions to climate change and housing crises are rooted in their knowledge and power.
