Privacy Policy — ClimateChangeJobs.com MCP Connector

This privacy policy explains what information is (and is not) collected, logged, or shared when you use the ClimateChangeJobs.com MCP connector to search job listings through an AI assistant.

The connector is a lightweight service that lets AI assistants like Claude query our public job board through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It is read-only and requires no account or personal information to use.

What we collect from users

Nothing. The connector does not ask for, receive, or store any personal information — no names, email addresses, resumes, browsing history, or account details. Queries are handled as anonymous requests.

What the server logs

For operational stability, our connector server records basic technical information about incoming requests — such as request timestamps and rate-limiting counters. These logs contain no user identifiers and are retained only for short-term operational purposes.

Our hosting provider (Railway) may also record standard server access logs at the infrastructure level, per their standard practices.

Third parties in the pipeline

When you use the connector, your query passes through several parties. Each has its own privacy practices:

  • The AI assistant you're using (for example, Claude by Anthropic) — sees your query and returns the response. Governed by that provider's privacy policy.
  • JBoard.io — the job board platform that hosts ClimateChangeJobs.com's underlying data. The connector queries JBoard's API to retrieve current listings. Standard API requests only; no user information is passed.
  • Railway — hosts the connector server. Standard infrastructure hosting relationship.

What the connector does NOT do

  • Does not create user accounts
  • Does not set cookies
  • Does not run analytics or tracking beacons
  • Does not store queries or responses
  • Does not share information with advertisers
  • Does not modify any data on ClimateChangeJobs.com
