Responsibilities

Provides project management and technical leadership on environmental planning and compliance projects, including those for compliance with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects
Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business resulting from client satisfaction
Consistently delivers profit margins planned
Manages more complex clients and projects
Has decision-making authority and directs other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such
Directs staff to operate and minimize exposure to project risks
Supervise and mentor team members with multiple projects or programs assignment

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Biology, Environmental Planning, Natural/Biological Resource Management or other related field experience
10 plus years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education with environmental planning and compliance project experience, including those for compliance with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
Environmental Assessment and Permitting experience
Permit application and report preparation for local, state and federal agencies
Experience with the resources and regulatory agencies in Texas
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Solid time management and follow-through skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on and manage multiple tasks / projects with tight deadlines
Valid driver's license is required
