POSITION OVERVIEW: 职位概要

PAC is seeking Battery equipment machine safety engineer (one mechanical and one electrical) that will be capable of ensuring the equipment is designed right, manufactured right and ready for certification before the equipment is shipped to the client. The engineer should be capable of providing machine safety risk assessment in accordance with regional guidelines (CE, UL or CSA) directives and standards. You will work with our customer and equipment supplier to ensure complete certification of the equipment in accordance with regional guidelines before it leaves the supplier's production site for Europe, US or Canda.

Capable of identifying which regional (CE, UL, CSA) directives and standards are applicable to the battery production equipment

Capable of finishing the risk assessment according to ISO 12100 during the concept the design

· Provide feedback and guidance to suppliers during the mechanical or electrical design and development of equipment according to either CE, UL, or CSA directives to ensure that the quality and technical specifications of equipment are consistent with standards.

Capable of determination of the limits of the machinery, provide hazard identification, risk estimation and analysis. Risk evaluation, lead, finish, optimize and track risk assessment for all machines during the whole design phase

· Be able to recommend the OEM to modify the design to meet the machine safety requirement according to the directives which belong to different regions.

· Capable of identify which components of the equipment require CE, UL, CSA certificates and capable of audit whether the certificates for such components meet the directives

· Review the technical documents to meet the regional safety certification requirements ,according to 2006/42/EC, such as manual, drawing, risk assessment…

· Tracking and control the safety change and issue from the design review to obtain the certification

· Experienced in Lock Out and Tag Out management. Understand the importance of LOTO, its process and operation and use of LOTO locks.

For electrical machines safety engineer, capable of calculating the Plr according to ISO 13849-1

Familiar with international standard directive 2006/EC/42,ISO 12100,ISO 60204-1, ISO13849-1, familiar with CSA (Canadian Standards Association) directive C22.2 No.301:23

QUALIFICATIONS: 合格要求

Education, Experience, Skills 教育，经验，技能

· 7+ years in a high-volume product manufacturing company. Such industries are limited to automotive/industrial product development, cosmetic, healthcare etc sectors. Clean room production experience is a plus

· Been through either a CE, UL or CSA production equipment certification process
