JOB SUMMARY: This position is in the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance, Office of Compliance, Enforcement Targeting and Data Division, Data Systems and Information Management Branch. About the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance: OECA This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. EPA offers work-from-home and work schedule flexibilities as described in the Benefits section. MAJOR DUTIES: You will: Develop and provide technical direction to others to develop data models that organize relevant data sets from a variety of sources, standardize data relationships and provide data-driven insights to streamline processes. Collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to understand how data is used, extracted and/or analyzed to develop useful knowledge for the management and direction of programs. Provide day-to-day supervision and administrative direction; analyze and evaluate organizational effectiveness; and develop strategies for complex, large, highly visible projects. Develop life-cycle cost analyses for all aspects of the data lifecycle to include performing cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
