RESPONSABILITIES AND FUNCTIONS
You will be part of the Saint Brieuc team and reporting to the Site Manager. Responsible for defining and delivering technical projects aimed to improve the availability and reliability of the wind farm with an emphasis on standardisation, digitisation of data, innovation and supporting the Operations Engineering team to strive for efficiency and excellence in delivering asset performance.
Main functions are the following:
- Manage the complete lifecycle of projects that are assigned.
- Achieve project objectives within time, budget and quality standards following industry best practice, HSE, regulatory and legal compliance.
- Ensure project execution with intelligent and cost-effective resourcing.
- Assist the Site Manager to coordinate works and activities as required.
- Provide technical information to the Operations Engineering team, as required, mainly related to the on site assets.
- Witness specific activities/works carried in the wind farm, as per the Site and/or Operations Engineering instructions, in order to gather information/evidence, etc as required.
- Support the Operations Engineering Leads by delivering processes and procedures required to implement a successful O&M asset integrity management system.
- Ensure appropriate considerations and lessons learnt regarding offshore wind farm Operation and Maintenance are captured and shared across the different Offshore Projects. Establish the right mechanisms for this process and ensure the teams and project implements them.
- Coordinate the technical interaction of Operations Engineering, Site, Global Services and other technical resources with OEMs, Service Providers, consultants, certifiers and regulators (relating to their asset) to ensure productive relationships and the highest technical response.
- Provide recommendations to the business giving input and support to the projects throughout the whole life cycle.
- Contribute to develop the O&M asset integrity management systems to protect and maximise asset values and production revenue for the global portfolio.
- Ensure O&M technical inputs are communicated and implemented to the new projects.
EXPERIENCE
- You have a Master degree or equivalence Specialised in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Control.
- Sound technical knowledge relevant to the offshore wind industry (eg. Structures, Cables, High Voltage, Scada, Drivetrains, Electronics, Data analysis).
- Highly IT literate.
- Relevant experience of offshore wind.
- Experience in engineering industry.
- Ability to work, manage project teams and manage decision making process under pressure and to deadlines.
- Sound planning and analysis skills with the ability to look forward and see / anticipate problems and thereafter plan and implements mitigating solutions.
- Experience and understanding of technical due diligence.
