Opportunity for a Senior/ Principal Water Environment Modeller (or experienced Consultant pushing Senior) to join our growing team in Manchester, M4 6JG.
As a modeller within our Water Environment team you will deliver hydraulic modelling to support nature-based solutions, FCERM scheme design, Flood Risk Assessment and drainage design. Current projects include the redevelopment of a brownfield site in Canterbury for residential development, supporting local authorities in utilising natural flood management techniques to alleviate flood risk. This catchment wide approach to flood risk management is an ever growing demand, along with the use of hydraulic modelling to quantify the potential risks and opportunities associated with climate change. This is a growing element of Rappor’s Water Environment business.
This role is for a modelling specialist, to work closely with the existing team of Director (Simon Mirams | LinkedIn), AD, Consultant, Consultant and Graduate Consultant. It is an opportunity for career progression, now and particularly as we continue to realise our growth plans over the coming months and years.
