Description

Seeking an Environmental Scientist or Engineer in any of our office locations with 5 or more years of experience working in natural resources, permitting, and ecological restoration. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Wetland delineations and reporting
Section 404/401 permitting
Wetland and stream restoration
Agency coordination
Geomorphic assessment
Functional assessment
Living shoreline/shoreline protection
Monitoring of streams, wetlands, and stormwater facilities
Developing construction documents (plans, specifications, estimates)

A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, ecology, civil engineering, agricultural/biological engineering, water resources engineering or related field, master’s degree is a plus. Experience with MS Office, GIS, and CAD preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.

Experience working in Mid-Atlantic region (Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania) preferred.

This is an office position with some field time requirements. The position can grow toward a leadership role in the firm.
