Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Sustainability Analyst Intern to join our team. This internship position will play a crucial role in supporting our federal climate and energy resilience projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sustainability, climate resiliency, energy efficiency and reliability for critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability strategies for Federal projects.
- Conduct research and analysis on climate and energy resilience best practices.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and proposals related to sustainability efforts.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainable solutions into design and construction processes.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of sustainability initiatives and recommend improvements.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in sustainability and resilience.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive impact.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous internship or project experience in sustainability or climate resilience is a plus.
