with the Division of Air Pollution Control (DAPC) at our Southwest District Office in Hocking County.

In this role you’ll serve as an emissions monitoring specialist for air pollution sources regulated by agency air permits. You’ll observe emission tests of facility stacks to verify the testing parties are following proper test procedures. This work will involve climbing to the source elevation such as rooftops and stack platforms in varying weather conditions.
You’ll review emissions monitoring data submitted by regulated facilities to ensure reports are submitted in compliance with applicable air permits and state and federal regulations. Once completed, you’ll summarize your findings in a timely manner and communicate to the regulated entity and internal staff and record in the agency’s database.
You’ll assist DAPC staff with compliance inspections of air pollution sources and coordinate and oversee the division’s continuous emissions monitoring systems program and recommend guidelines for quality control plans.
