Job Title: Director, Health Equity (Global Sustainability)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a thought leader to join the Insulet Global Sustainability Team at an incredibly exciting time for the organization. This position will be responsible for leading our global Health Equity Program. The Director, Health Equity will lead and manage initiatives aimed at reducing health disparities for people with diabetes and promoting health equity within the community, centered on access to technology that provides positive health outcomes.
This role involves strategic planning, program development, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy to promote equitable health outcomes for all populations. You will apply critical thinking and transformation skills to initiatives that build a strong foundation for the program and will scale as we move to differentiate Insulet with our future sustainability ambitions and performance.

This position reports to the Vice President, Global Sustainability, Chief Sustainability Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global health equity strategy.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of health equity programs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to connect health equity opportunities to organizational objectives.
- Program Management:
- Lead the development and execution of health equity initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and impact.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Use a data driven approach to design effective programs.
- Communicate initiatives internally and externally through storytelling.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and academic institutions.
- Facilitate community outreach and engagement activities.
- Represent the organization at local, state, and national forums on health equity.
- Work closely with internal organizations such as Market Access, Advocacy, Commercial and Customer Experience driving access and affordability.
- Advocacy and Policy:
- Work with our internal Advocacy organization on policies and practices that promote health equity.
- Stay informed on health equity current trends and best practices.
- Provide expertise and guidance on health equity issues to internal and external stakeholders.
- Data and Research:
- Oversee the collection and analysis of data related to health disparities.
- Use data to inform program development.
- Publish and present findings to advance the field of health equity.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in public health, health equity, or a related area.
- Proven track record of developing and managing health equity programs.
- Experience managing and developing high-performance teams directly and indirectly.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with data analysis and program evaluation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Able to inspire others to create change, set priorities and complete activities on time and on budget.

- Deep understanding of health equity and social determinants of health.

- Writing Skills: memos, letters, data analyses, excellent grammar, and spelling skills. Must have a sharp eye for language, critical review and be a skilled writer.

- This position may require travel to various community sites and partner organizations.
- Flexible work hours, including some evenings and weekends, may be required.

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $155,400.00 - $233,400.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
