Director, Water & Environment
Responsibilities
- Control and management of the whole life cycle of the projects in the Water & Environment division
- Working within a multi-discipline team of engineers, technicians and other professionals to develop engineering designs from concept to detailed design and specifications
- Liaise with Clients in relation to project progress, decisions and changes to ensure deliverables are met and produced on time and budget
- Be a team leader to develop and grow the team with P&L responsibilities
- Attend design meetings, site meetings and all other project related meetings
- Responsible for business proposal/tendering and commercial negotiations
- Seek for business opportunities across APAC regions proactively
Requirements
An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Be a Corporate Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (Civil or Environmental Engineering Discipline) or equivalent; and
- Have a minimum of 15 years’ relevant post-chartered experience in delivering Hong Kong SAR Government projects (preferably WSD & DSD projects); and
- Have acted in the capacity of Project Manager for Hong Kong SAR Government projects in the field of Water, Wastewater, Drainage and/ or Utilities Engineering; and
- Have strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills; and
- Have a good command of written and spoken English.
- The role will be based in our Hong Kong Office.
- Near native fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential. Ability to speak Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) would be an advantage.
