This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

Responsibilities
- Assist with managing client’s non-hazardous and hazardous waste disposal.
- Perform physical labor associated with cleanup activities, sample collection, waste removal and other remediation services.
- Complete required paperwork, forms and records as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
- Manage and track entire process of waste generation, storage and disposal including:
- Manage the pick-up of hazardous waste at various sites for the client; Coordinate activities with waste generators and properly identify, classify, label and manifest waste in preparation for disposal or treatment.
- Ensure proper packaging and labelling of waste to maximize efficiently and maintain compliance.
- Interact with Branch Manager, Project Managers and Field Staff regarding compliance with shipments of non-hazardous and hazardous waste and other client issues regarding compliance.
- Prepare specimen samples for testing at lab, including packaging, labelling, and recordkeeping.
- Assist with responding to hazardous material releases and assist in the containment and clean-up of spilled materials.
- Assist with preparation, collection and review of periodic environmental reports and all compliance monitoring data.
Qualifications
- BS in Geology, Engineering, or Environmental Science, Equivalent experience considered.
- Successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong math and analytical skills, knowledge of environmental regulations.
- Must be computer literate and can utilize reference materials, including the internet. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 productivity suite required – particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Must be able to work without direct supervision.
- HAZWOPER 40 hour and confined space entry preferred.
- Driving a company vehicle is an essential function of the job; candidates must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
