General Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform a variety of field tasks including wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species studies, habitat assessments, tree surveys etc.
- Basic understanding of Clean Water Act (CWA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
- Perform basic GIS services as needed.
- Assist with report preparation as needed.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Excellent writing, communication, and client engagement skills, as well as budget management.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree
Required Experience:
Certifications:
- Seeking Certified Natural Resources Professional (CNRP), Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS), Certified Arborist (CA), Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS) or other
- Seeking or has completed Wetland Delineation Training
Physical Requirements:
- Sit for extended periods of time working on computer
- Driving to and from various project locations
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Position requires approximately 50% of time in the field, applicant must be able to work in all weather conditions
