Description
We're hiring an Environmental Health & Safety Intern for our Summer 2025 Internship Program! Part of our Environmental Health & Safety Team, this individual will be tasked with critical projects to ensure regulatory compliance and promotion of a safe work environment. This is a perfect opportunity for an individual to gain EH&S experience in a business/manufacturing environment and apply concepts learned in the classroom to real-life situations.
Come Build with Us by:
- Using a variety of software tools to support engineering, manufacturing and safety processes.
- Creating work instructions.
- Developing safety risk assessments.
- Analyzing data.
- Assisting with safety training.
- Assisting with site walks to identify unsafe work conditions and practices.
- May assist with reviewing injury and illness investigation reports.
- Providing clerical and technical support to safety department.
- Performing other duties as necessary.
Bring Your Expertise:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Currently enrolled at a College or University with a primary major in safety, health, industrial hygiene, engineering, environmental science or associated degree.
- Intermediate level in MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint and SharePoint helpful.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Must be self-driven and have the ability to stay on task for extended periods of time.
- Must possess valid driver’s license from his/her state of residence.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds in a safe manner and request assistance when warranted.
- Must have full range of motion sufficient to permit climbing stairs and ladders, walking, standing, stooping and crouching for extended periods of time while performing duties.

TURBOCAM’s paid internship program allows students the opportunity to obtain valuable, applicable work experience. Our program blends real-world experience with weekly guest speakers, discussions, and literature review. Our goal is for you to take the time and opportunity to wrestle with worldview questions that most students do not have time for in the rigor of their academic pursuits. Knowledgeable mentors will provide guidance as you gain professional hands-on knowledge in Manufacturing.
