Role Overview:<\/span><\/b>
We are looking for an experienced Environmental Manager to lead our
environmental strategies at a mining site. The role involves ensuring
compliance with environmental regulations, promoting sustainable practices, and
engaging with stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a strong background
in environmental management, with fluency in French/Swahili and English.<\/span><\/div>Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Develop and implement environmental strategies.<\/span>
<\/li>Ensure compliance with HSE regulations.<\/span>
<\/li>Lead sustainable procurement and manage environmental teams.<\/span>
<\/li>Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs).<\/span>
<\/li>Report on environmental performance and manage budgets.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Requirements:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related
field (Master’s preferred).<\/span>
<\/li>NEBOSH/NOSA certification.<\/span>
<\/li>Minimum 4 years of experience in an environmental role.<\/span>
<\/li>Proficiency in French/Swahili and English.<\/span>
