Role: Manager/Sr Manager - Land

Role Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for exploring Wind Energy project sites, securing permits, and managing land acquisition processes. This role demands coordination with project execution teams, handling legal matters, and ensuring compliance with state policies. The GM-Land will play a pivotal role in liaising with government bodies and local stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Explore renewable energy project belts, including potential large farms, setup by various states.
- Focus on securing permits and land acquisition for renewable energy projects.
- Coordinate with project execution teams for land handover, access paths, local issues, Right of Ways, and policy matters.
- Manage legal and local issues for each state and project.
- Ensure compliance with land acquisition norms, laws, and practices in each state.
- Develop and maintain strong networks with government bodies to secure permits and land access.
- Engage with local stakeholders to address and resolve project-related issues.
- Facilitate the integration of electrical parts of project with CTUs and Transmission Companies for evacuation options.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on land acquisition progress and challenges.
Required Experience:
- Overall 12+ years of experience. 5+ in land acquisition, particularly Wind energy projects.
- In-depth knowledge of land regulations, nodal agencies, ERC, and evacuation processes.
- Expertise in renewable energy policies and land acquisition norms in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.
- Strong networking and coordination skills with government bodies and local stakeholders.
- Good understanding of electrical concepts related to CTUs and Transco evacuation options.
- Proven ability to handle legal and local matters across various states.
- Willingness to travel for at least half of the month.
