Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult is recruiting a Project Planner on a 12 Month FTC based at our Blyth site, to help ensure that the best use is made of all ORE Catapult project resources and that they are deployed in the most effective and efficient manner.
What will I do?
- Custodian of project plans, progress chasing and plan updating.
- Challenge and record unplanned work.
- Driving improvements in project schedules and plan accuracy.
- Support project managers to maintain plans and prepare progress reports for clients.
- Be positioned to inform all project managers of the critical path and schedule delays.
- Regularly review critical path, schedule content, use of relationships and lag, constraints and milestones.
- Participate in regular project team meetings across multiple projects
- Sales support for tender schedules and feed studies.
- Support the TDC project as part of the above responsibilities.
- Any other duties that may reasonably be required from time to time to deliver ORE Catapult objectives.
What are we looking for?
- Experienced user of MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Resource scheduling/coordinator experience desired but not essential.
- Experience using MS Project/Primavera P6 would be advantageous.
- Preferably Degree Qualified in related subject but not essential.
