Job Summary
As a VAWT Sales Engineer, you will be a key player in promoting our state-of-the-art VAWT technology and driving its adoption across various sectors. You will work closely with potential clients, understand their energy requirements, and guide them through the advantages of VAWT technology, positioning it as a superior solution for sustainable energy needs. Your role will be pivotal in securing new business and providing technical insights that enhance customer confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify, engage, and secure new clients in the renewable energy sector, particularly focusing on industries and locations suited to wind power generation.
- Consultative Sales: Present and articulate the unique technical and financial benefits of VAWT systems, ensuring clients understand the return on investment and long-term sustainability.
- Market Research & Strategy: Conduct market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, enabling you to tailor solutions effectively.
- Deal Negotiation & Closure: Lead the negotiation process, drafting proposals, and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Technical Support: Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, answering client questions, ensuring smooth installations, and addressing any concerns that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders to drive repeat business and referrals, while also partnering with other organizations to expand market reach.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably mechanical, electrical, or renewable energy) or a related technical field.
- Sales Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in sales within the renewable energy sector, with a preference for wind power, solar, or energy storage.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Indian energy market, especially in renewable energy policies, incentives, and industry drivers.
- Technical Skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms and align them with the client's needs.
- Communication & Negotiation Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate confidently, and close deals.
