The position
As an experienced IFS professional your focus will be to design and deliver system capabilities to internal customers; using IFS Cloud ERP and those systems integrated with IFS to fulfill end-to-end processes. You will be primarily responsible for analyzing requirements in Development & Construction, designing the ‘to be' system process, configuration requirements and subsequent deployment of IFS solutions focusing on the IFS modules supporting RES projects in the Development and Construction businesses globally.
Key Accountabilities
The Systems Functional Lead - Projects will:
- Apply strong business analysis skills to elicit and document business requirements and deliver end to end solutions for the assigned functional areas within IFS solutions suite and related platforms
- Take lead solution accountability for the Projects features in IFS, leading a team of product team members, taking direct line management of analysts and developers and working closely with colleagues with equivalent accountability for Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, HCM, Asset and Service Management
- Contribute to overall Product Strategy in response to changing internal dynamics, stakeholder/user requirements and technology landscape
- Perform functionality fit assessments comparing ‘as is' and future state and make recommendations around configurations, modifications, integrations and reports
- Produce design documents and artefacts for approved configurations, modifications, integrations and reports and assist deploying solutions liaising with technical resources
- Develop and test detailed functional designs and associated data setup for business solution components and prototypes
- Plan and execute data conversion activities including mapping and migrations
- Utilize planning and organization skills to deliver agreed business outcomes on time safeguarding the quality standards and stakeholder expectations
- Plan and drive necessary test regimes such as verification, acceptance, readiness testing based on the delivery methodology
- Prepare and deliver solutions training activities to business users
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data-driven recommendations
- Present findings and insights to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Oversee overall solution quality across all value streams
- Serve as an expert in Enterprise Data across the associated platforms, ensuring effective insights and analytics for the solutions in scope, and integration with overall data strategies
- Operate change intake, prioritization, and delivery processes within the value stream, including internal and external resources accountable for change delivery and support
- Establish, maintain, and manage operational metrics and KPIs across software uptime, delivery, and business value across the estate
- Effectively operate and refine agile management methodologies to delivery business value quickly and repeatedly
- Provides training and support to end-users on data and reporting tools and best practices
- Collaborate with related software products groups to ensure constructive collaboration and ensure full integration with the RES strategy
- Present at regular meetings to an internal product board (steering committee) of senior stakeholders and business leaders
- Contribute to product budgets and ensure effective management of the software products in accordance with company management frameworks
Knowledge
- Sound knowledge of IFS implementation methodologies and the IFS Scope Tool
- Understanding of IFS Solutions Manager related functionality, profiles and permissions setup
- Knowledge of enterprise-grade ERP systems and management practices for significant enterprise SaaS deployments
- Software Product Management best practice
- Agile Software development and operations best practices (DevOps)
- Software accessibility best practices
- Requirements gathering and business analysis
- Working knowledge of Renewable Energy Development, Construction and Service business models

Experience
- Experience in IFS Applications version 10 and above.
- Hands on experience in implementing IFS in a Project-driven environment. Experience in the other major IFS modules such as Finance and Contracts, Rentals, Supply Chain, Procurement, HCM, Service and Asset Management will be advantageous

Qualifications
- Relevant degree in a related discipline or equivalent level of professional experience
