We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the construction of our renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selecting proper construction methodologies and strategies in collaboration with engineers and other construction specialists
- Instruct and supervise construction workers and activities onsite to ensure compliance to specifications, building and safety codes, legal requirements and other regulations
- Manage the review of contractor’s submittals such as but not limited to design drawings, materials, method statements, programme of works
- Maintain high‐level quality assurance through processed verification to confirm that the installation of all works is in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards
- Facilitate the weekly coordination and any other subsequent meeting with the client and the contractor and ensure that all required deliverables are accomplished
- Collaborate with the assigned safety officers and site engineers to ensure that all personnel are engaged in safe work practices in compliance with site‐specific safety procedures and industry standards to the highest level
Qualifications:
- 10-15+ years’ experience in the design and construction of renewable energy projects locally and internationally such as solar, wind and/or hydroelectric power plants
- Experience in the installation of Floating Solar Farm (FPV) will be an advantage
- Knowledge of the requirements of the Philippine authorities for construction works and permits necessary for construction activities
- Proficiency in speaking and understanding Chinese is an advantage.
This is a project based, on-site position based in Laguna, Philippines.
