Job Summary
The Senior Treasury Analyst will support the day-to-day activities of Treasury operations, bank account management, debt management, and support process improvement initiatives. The Senior Treasury Analyst will work closely with the Director, Treasury and various business groups within the organization as well as interact directly with external stakeholders (banks, lawyers, vendors, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Manage collateral requirements program, preparing all applications for Letters of Credit and Surety Bonds
- Prepare Construction Loan Draw process for multiple projects and flow of funds with respect to monthly distributions.
- Prepare documents for compliance with debt obligations and credit facility covenants.
- Prepare daily cash position and payments execution.
- Maintain all aspects of bank account management including the opening, closing of accounts, and managing various online banking platforms.
- Review and update the weekly operating cash forecast.
- Support project financing by ensuring all treasury needs are identified and implemented in advance of transaction closings.
- Ensure Treasury internal policies and procedures are followed.
- Reconcile debt service payment amounts between bank invoices and internal schedules.
- Assist in maintaining an effective internal control environment with responsibility for quarterly SOX testing.
- Assist in implementation of Treasury Management System.
Location: Houston, TX or remote. Preferably within Eastern Time Zone. Position may require periodic trips to Richmond, VA or Houston, TX for team meetings.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, or Finance
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience
- Experience with managing high volume of Letters of Credit and Surety Bonds.
- Experience with debt obligations and credit facility covenants.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
- Knowledge of financial markets and instruments
- Strong attention to detail; working in a conscientious, consistent, and thorough manner.
- Solid analytical skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making ability
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
- CTP preferred.
- Banking/Solar Industry/Construction experience preferred.
