Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our Business Development (BD) Team as a Field Manager. In this role, you will work closely with our Enterprise sales representatives and segment marketing teams to develop opportunities supporting the sales process and pipeline and manage all in-person event logistics as an extension of the marketing events group. In this role, you will be expected to learn critical skills and techniques to support your growth as a Quorum sales representative through networking, pipeline development, event logistics, and quarterly quota achievement.
The BD Field Manager will represent Quorum’s Midstream and Measurement offerings to the industry and help the sales and product organizations build customer relationships by developing opportunities identified as leads. This role will include promoting Quorum products and services and providing information to help customers and prospects understand and evaluate Quorum’s midstream and measurement offerings. Your focus will be identifying leads and engaging the Quorum sales team to qualify and pursue each lead as a sales opportunity. Additional responsibilities will include representing Quorum at industry events, conferences, and/or trade shows; helping to build brand awareness through social media; involvement with professional organizations and committees as assigned; assisting in developing marketing and outreach campaigns targeted at the midstream and measurement communities; and participating as an engaged partner to the Enterprise sales team during the lead to opportunity conversion process.

Responsibilities
- Support the sales and marketing team by attending industry events, providing on-site event logistic management, identifying & capturing sales leads, developing new & existing customer relationships, and representing Quorum to the industry.
- At industry events, network with customers/prospects and other midstream/measurement stakeholders at Quorum’s exhibit, capturing details regarding business trends and challenges.
- Provide detailed summaries to the assigned Enterprise sales team representative & warm introductions for lead development after the event.
- Network with current and prospective clients to understand their needs, provide relevant product information, and impress upon them Quorum’s commitment to excellence in the midstream and measurement segments.
- Carry out prospecting and lead nurturing programs related to initiating new business and expanding the Quorum’s relationship with existing clients during industry events and through social media/digital communication.
- Develop target lists through in-office business development efforts (cold calls, campaign distributions) as well as out-of-office business development efforts in the field at industry events such as happy hours, booth engagement, attendance of educational sessions/general sessions as assigned, etc.
- Assist with account-based planning for and identifying new business opportunities within accounts with Midstream & Measurement sales leaders.
- Manage and update customer relationship management (CRM) database (Salesforce) as needed or directed in relation to leads and event post-mortem notes, campaign updates, networking events, or as assigned.
- Provide administrative support to the sales and marketing team as needed.
- And other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree program in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years experience in sales support or similar field marketing roles is required. Experience marketing or selling to oil and gas customers is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills preferred.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Initiative: Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
- Adaptability: Able to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Analytical Skills: Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
- Sales Aptitude: Demonstrated interest in sales and a desire to pursue a career in the field.
- Event Management: Proven ability to manage event details and execute on-site requirements in collaboration with Marketing team(s) ahead of event.
- Time Management: Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Travel: Up to 50% travel required for this role.
