Job Summary

Operating within the PJM and MISO regions, our projects play a critical role in decarbonizing the grid and addressing the challenges of climate change. We are looking for a Structuring Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of creating a cleaner, more sustainable world.
Responsibilities
- Perform market valuation of renewable projects and PPAs, identifying key risks and value drivers, and recommending strategies for effectively managing those risks.
- Engage in the continuous monitoring of market conditions, using analytics to predict trends and potential impacts on project valuations. This includes maintaining knowledge of financial and operational risks associated with market and regulatory changes.
- Deliver analysis to help drive deal structuring and innovative solutions.
- Take part in model building and maintenance as required, including coordinating with other internal teams on joint model development.
- Establish strong partnerships, collaboration, and influence with business area stakeholders. Obtain and coordinate resources, establish accountability, and help ensure timely delivery of commitments
- ·Be an advocate for data driven commercial decisions across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with the trading team to integrate market insights into operational strategies and risk management practices.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, market analysis, and risk assessment within the energy sector.
- Proficient in analytical and modeling tools such as Excel, VBA, Python, Power BI, and industry-specific software.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively presenting complex financial and market information.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a timely manner.
- In-depth knowledge of the PJM and MISO electricity markets and their regulatory environments.
- Prior experience in renewable energy trading or market operations.
- Familiarity with risk management strategies and tools applicable to the energy sector.
