Solar Path is a growing Solar PV installation company based in Cork city. We have an active team that we are looking to expand, with the possibility for the right candidate to run their own roofing team in time.
We are looking for a talented Solar PV Roofer/Carpenter to join our busy installation team in Munster. The role will involve working on sites across Munster, setting scaffolding and installing solar PV panels on our customers’ properties, ensuring complaince with building regulations, SEAI and the company health and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
Installing solar PV systems, consisting of solar panels and mounting systems on domestic, commercial and agricultural roofs.
Engage with homeowners and advise on works being undertaken or changes to initial scope of works.
Erecting and disassembling aluminium scaffolding towers.
Complete works to a high standard and within the time allocated for the project.
Capture and submit all required photographs and other information required for the project.
Requirements
Roofing/Carpentry qualification is very important but not a critical requirement.
At least 3 years roofing experience on a variety of different roof types
Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal staff and customers where required
Must be driven, ambitious and self-motivated
Passion for what you do and have pride in your work is critical
