AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking for a Battery Inventory Coordinator to join our Automotive Services team in Southeast Portland!
The Battery Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support and coordination of daily battery sales, inventory, and ordering for Fleet operations. This position provides member relations support for member service requests pertaining to roadside assistance and battery sales. The role is responsible for supporting the delivery of roadside services, point of sale systems, assisting with member concerns, record keeping, and providing reporting and administrative support to the Fleet Services team.
Desired Skills
- Some college education highly preferred.
- Customer service and administrative experience required.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and general ledger entry preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to take initiative and make timely decisions independently, understanding inventory and sales processes with high accuracy as outlined within Fleet Services and accounting practices.
- Research service issues and resolve as necessary based on member service objectives and Fleet goals.
- Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues, motivating others to action, establishing rapport and gaining the trust of others.
- Basic computer literacy required.
- Bilingual fluency of Spanish/English language is very helpful in this role.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Based out of our Fleet location in Southeast Portland, OR.
