MAJOR DUTIES: As a Senior Investment Officer you may: Oversee a team or assist with performing detailed credit analysis of new loan guarantee applications, financial modeling, credit assessment, and risk analysis associated with energy related projects. Initially review projects and determine the need to continue through initial screening; enter due diligence and full underwriting. Determine the approval or rejection for the financing of various investment projects. Perform thorough, accurate and complete analysis, and prepare necessary documents for the DOE financial, technical and environmental review process. Collaborate with clients to determine if project sponsored projects are ready for full-scale commercialized underwriting.
