The Opportunity:
BluMetric requires an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) & Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to support and lead the configuration management of military and non-military projects, is responsible for the development and maintenance of documentation that focus on configuring, operating, and maintaining the system in accordance with the Provisioning Parts Breakdown, provides documentation gap analysis, as well as to lead the BluMetric quality management system (QMS) as required to be compliant with ISO9001-2015.
Job Responsibilities:
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Collect, organize and expedite the necessary technical data to conduct Product and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) activities such as Functional Analysis; Failures Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis; Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis; Level of Repair Analysis; Maintenance Task Analysis and Sparing Analysis.
- Determine required spares and spares quantities to support equipment by reviewing technical publications and usage data as well as interacting with BluMetric engineering, procurement and service delivery personnel and Technical Authorities.
- Develops Maintenance Plans, Preventive or Corrective Maintenance Schedules, and Instructions and Performance Tests as well as Spare Parts List and accompanying Provisioning Technical Data for any new equipment or modification to existing systems.
- Facilitates review of Maintenance Plans, Preventive or Corrective Maintenance Schedules, and Instructions and Performance Test and operational data to propose amendments to eliminate or control equipment failures or to improve maintainability, increase system availability or reduce life cycle costs.
- Conduct Lifecycle Cost Analysis and report Thru Life Costs.
- Review vendor documentation and identify maintenance and support requirements; maintain supplier qualifications and Approved Vendor List (AVL) in collaboration with the Supply Chain Specialist.
- Provide input to map the QMS processes and their inputs and outputs in collaboration with each process owner.
- Identify risks to the QMS, with consideration of all interested parties and influences, assess risk level to the QMS, develop and monitor actions to control risks.
- Monitor and manage progress of implementation and performance of quality objectives.
- Support the development of Work Instructions (WI) and Forms (F) in collaboration with Production and Engineering teams.
- Support Production Manager in effectively training/mentoring staff ensuring that quality requirements are communicated, completed and assessed per WI and F.
- Ensure that QMS and quality guidance is documented and provided to employees so that they can fulfil the quality requirements of their job (e.g., QMS employee orientation, work instructions).
- Conduct technical verification inspections of parts and equipment
- Manage non-conformities found during any inspections or other QMS processes.
- Support in documentation of warranty claims and internal investigation of potential production issues.
- Investigate and document potential quality impacts of out-of-calibration incidents.
- Help to facilitate and monitor the progress of engineering change requests.
- Manage corrective actions derived from NCR, SCAR, warranty claims or audits.
- Maintain and file supporting documents related to ECR, NC, CA and SCAR .
Key Qualifications, Education, and Skills:
- An Engineering degree or Technologist diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, industrial or reliability engineering.
- Three (3) to six (6) years or more proven experience conducting Logistics Support Analysis in maintenance and supply support of complex systems or equipment.
- Minimum two (2) years experience in ISO 9001 Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC)
- Currently holds or is eligible to obtain a minimum Secret Clearance security level and Controlled Goods
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner; with abilities to clearly define problem statements, discuss issues, collaborate on corrective actions
- Comfortable working regularly in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and experience in MS Office
- Valid driver’s license
- Bilingual – French and English
- Hybrid position that will require some in office or production facility time as required.

Salary Range: 75,000.00 – 95,000.00(Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.)
