JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, in the Resource Stewardship and Interpretation Division. MAJOR DUTIES: Operate and maintain a variety of sampling, monitoring, and recording equipment to generate aquatic biological and physical science data. Conduct field surveys and monitoring to collect data on aquatic biology and ecology projects. Organize and supervise field projects. Use Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to map and record field data. Input, manage, and ensure quality of field data in databases.
