For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $66,000 -$99,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Opportunity Support Specialist to join our team and support various commercial activities critical to our Commercial Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer communication, opportunity creation, working with quote support for quote creation, pre-order processing, and order updates. This role requires a strong focus on attention to detail, effective communication, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure smooth commercial operations. This activity will be managed through a regional inbox.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Communication:
- Engage in consultative solution creation and Bill of Materials (BOM) development.
- Address miscellaneous customer inquiries such as lead times, price and availability without a formal quote, and documentation requirements.
Opportunity Creation:- Identify and verify Value Chain Players (VCPs) for new opportunities, including determining correct pricing levels for direct and indirect accounts.
Assist in Quote Creation & Delivery:- Work with Quote support to Generate and deliver quotes using our Quotation application (SEA) under the bFO opportunity.
- Facilitate the creation of Quote Support Requests (QSRs) and ensure accurate documentation and communication during the quoting process.
- Manage pricing, negotiation, and communication with customers to finalize quotes.
Pre-order Processing:- Review quotes and purchase orders to ensure alignment in terms of line items, pricing, and Value Chain Players (VCPs).
- Coordinate with project managers and the orders team to address hardware, software, and services requirements before finalizing orders.
Expediting & Order Updates:- Collaborate with offer managers and the orders team to manage product availability, expediting requests, and order updates, ensuring timely and accurate order processing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
- Proven experience in commercial operations, sales support, or order processing roles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales enablement tools, and order processing systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic commercial environment.
