This position is offered on a contract/temporary basis and requires physical presence, as it is not eligible for remote work.
As a Sales Consultant at Solar Pros, you'll be at the forefront of the solar revolution, working directly with clients to understand their energy needs and helping them transition to sustainable solar energy solutions. This role demands a high level of engagement and expertise in client interactions, ensuring you provide tailored solutions that meet the unique requirements of each customer. Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage with potential clients to introduce them to various solar products and services offered by Solar Pros.
- Analyze client energy requirements and financial capacities to propose the most suitable solar solutions.
- Conduct on-site or virtual assessments to gather necessary client and locational information for customized solar pitches.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals and sales pitches that effectively communicate the benefits and ROI of solar installations.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and regulations in the solar industry to offer up-to-date advice and solutions.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to encourage referrals and recurring business.
- Meet and exceed personal and team sales targets, contributing to the company's overall goals and profitability.
- Handle objections and negotiate contract terms to close sales effectively and beneficially.
- Participate in local and regional trade shows and seminars to promote solar energy solutions and generate leads.
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure smooth transition from sale to implementation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Consultant or similar role, preferably in the solar industry or related field.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and able to meet designated quotas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with diverse client bases.
- Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
- A reliable car and a functioning phone are mandatory for client visits and constant communication.
- Ability and willingness to visit clients on-site which involves frequent travel within the service area.
- Basic technical understanding of solar energy systems and components is preferred.
- High level of self-motivation and organizational skills to manage schedules and follow-ups with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of local regulations and permitting processes relating to solar installations is a strong plus.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training in solar products, sales techniques, and industry trends.
- Sales Consultant role operates on a full commission basis, rewarding high performance and successful sales achievements.
1099 MISC 100% Full Commission position.
