Responsibilities

Your Role:

As the Land Development Manager at Coastal Waste and Recycling, you will be at the forefront of planning, overseeing, and managing land development projects that align with our company’s strategic goals. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with local regulations. This role requires a strong background in land development, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for environmental sustainability.

Lead and manage all aspects of land development projects from initiation through completion.
Coordinate and manage land acquisitions, zoning, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and local government agencies.
Oversee site assessments and feasibility studies to determine land development potential.
Manage site preparation, including excavation, grading, and environmental remediation.
Monitor and ensure adherence to environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure project progress and quality standards are being met.
Provide leadership and guidance to the land development team, ensuring collaboration, safety, and high performance.
Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget, reporting on progress to senior leadership.
Maintain relationships with key industry partners, contractors, and government entities.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in land development
High school diploma is preferred
Strong understanding of land use regulations, zoning laws, and environmental compliance
Project management experience, including the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources
Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Proficiency in project management tools and software
Ability to perform site assessments and inspections as needed
