Mission
The Site Manager will ensure that construction projects are carried out in accordance with established quality, safety and time requirements, coordinating the different teams on site.
The first solar project (6,5MW) is located in the province of Taranto, in the Apulia region of Italy. The second solar project (9.3MW) will be located in Sicily.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the technical aspects (civil, electrical and mechanical) of the construction of the photovoltaic park and/or interconnection infrastructure
- Supervise the EPC Contractor in charge of organizing the work to be carried out on site. The EPC Contractor will be managing and coordinating the human and material resources necessary for this.
- Prepare proposals for procedures, techniques, methods and means to improve the performance and results of the project.
- Supervise the economic aspects of the awards to EPC Contractor, ensuring compliance with the budgets.
- Supervise compliance with planning, production and quality on site.
- Approve the EPC Contractor's monthly certifications and quantities.
- Ensure that the EPC Contractor has all the permits, licenses required for its activity.
- Manage and resolve problems that arise during construction.
- Collaborate in the fulfillment of the HSE objectives and goals set by management and in the integration of preventive actions in their area of responsibility.
- Responsible for the Health and Safety Plan (HSP) and the Inspection Point Plan (IPP), monitoring compliance by all plant and subcontracted personnel, as well as by people not linked to the project such as visitors.
- Provide daily progress reports, including activity rates and work completion forecasts.
- Report deviations, including schedule discrepancies, design variations, environmental issues, and technical non-conformities.
Job Requirements
- Engineering training, preferably in the electrical field.
- Reading and interpretation of drawings.
- Document analysis and management.
- National and international standards.
- English level (B2).
- Microsoft office.
- At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in solar photovoltaic plants.
- Availability to travel where the photovoltaic plant is being built in Italy.
- Ability to work independently on-site while maintaining regular communication with the office-based team.
