Job Description

Our client is a pioneer in innovative solar rooftop solutions and is a developer and investor in the clean energy business who initiated the Private PPA business model in the Thailand market.

Now they are looking for a Business Development Engineer / Associate to join their team.

Job Description

Project Sourcing & Origination
- Identifying and sourcing potential projects and investments in decarbonization.
- Collaborating on planning and development with project teams.
Feasibility & Due Diligence
- Conducting due diligence and financial analysis.
- Working with internal teams and advisors to evaluate all aspects of projects.
- Building financial models and providing strategic insights.
Fundraising Support
- Assisting in identifying and securing funding sources.
- Developing pitches and presentations for investors.
- Coordinating with finance to ensure liquidity.
Contract Negotiation
- Supporting management in negotiations with partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Analyzing deal structures and securing favourable terms.
Relationship Management
- Maintaining strong industry relationships with developers, investors, and institutions.
Reporting
- Preparing presentations and reports for approvals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in Business Development in the Solar industry.
Strong financial modelling, analytical, and communication skills.
Relationship-building abilities.
Interest in sustainability and renewable energy.
