JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in Virgin Islands National Park, in the Administration Division. Open to the first 100 applicants or until 12/02/2024 whichever comes first. MAJOR DUTIES: As a Supply Technician, you will perform the following duties: Preparing quarterly plan for the acquisition and disposal of excess property. Locating surplus property, determines age and probable condition by checking records, contacting local vendors, and making physical inspections. Conducting physical inventories, accounting for property in assigned functional areas. Receiving requests for reports of excess personal property and takes appropriate action. Maintaining personal property inventory system of records. Preparing reports of lost, damaged, or destroyed property. Providing acquisition, utilization, protection, and disposition of federally owned personal property. Maintaining the currency of designations.
