Project Manager – Solar & Storage Integration

Key Job Duties:
- Maintain the highest positive attitude in the office
- Manage, motivate, and mentor a variety of personnel involved in the installation & inspection of solar projects
- Ensure that the installation crew has the opportunity to perform the installation in a timely manner
- Monitor and oversee daily production
- Inspect job sites of each installation crew and correct as needed. Accountable to technician assessments of potential solar installation sites to determine feasibility and design requirements
- Accompany crews on jobs sites to ensure quality and improve techniques
- Communicate and coordinate with the office sales manager on a regular basis
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns involving the installation process
- Coordinate with corporate departments on a daily basis, provide accurate installation forecasts and branch performance reporting
- Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership
- Coordinate/Schedule/and ensure Service Calls are handled in a timely manner
- Coordinate and schedule pre-install site assessments in order to gather necessary info for design and permitting.
- Submit all pertinent information for solar install design and permitting, managing entire life cycle process from initial sale to system commissioning and customer onboarding
- Ensure the safety of the staff by holding weekly trainings/meetings
Necessary Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred
- 4+ years construction experience
- 4+ years management experience
- Experience with project management and construction experience required
- Solar industry a plus
- Must know how to handle problems quickly and efficiently
- Must be very organized and have great communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate industry-specific computer skills with continuous work within project softwares
- 2-3 years experience in a leadership role within the solar industry
