The Offer Manager acts like an owner in helping to manage sales growth and profitability of the responsible product lines. The Offer Manager is accountable for managing the product life cycle and helping with sales enablement for Schneider Electric’s Offer in the U.S. Market. The Offer Manager will lead activities that require cross functional support of product introductions, remote training, product quality issues, forecast support, global supply chain relationships and coordination, technical support for sales organization, and manufacturing plant relationship. The ideal Offer Manager can grasp the technical capabilities and features of the product and translate them into benefits for the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
The Offer Manager will support the product management team with the following:
- Definition of the product strategy and tactics following the 4P’s of Marketing elements for successfully positioning the products in the market
- Offer definition around its value, features, competition
- Pricing definition by devising the right pricing strategy
- Place definition to support the go to market strategy
- Promotional support of the product for sales and marketing communication
- Design and management of marketing content and sales enablement for delivery to sales, customers, and channels.
- Product launches and life cycle management
- Analyzing product profitability and sales success to ensure the health of the product offering according to business strategy.
- Competitive analysis
- Product demand forecast and inventory levels with sales and operations.
- Product availability and quality management.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechanical or Mechatronics specialization is preferred.
- Business degree is an asset but not required.
Experience
- 2-5 years in Engineering, Marketing, or Sales in the Industrial Automation industry
- Domain knowledge of Motion, Robotics, PLC’s, and HMI applications is preferred.
- Competency in Motion, Robotics, IIoT, cyber security, and software is highly desirable.
- 1-2 years in sales in industrial automation industry or manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Training will be offered for this position.
