Schneider Electric has a new opportunity for a Application Engineer Co-Op to join our Andover, MA team, starting January 2025. The ideal candidate will stay for 6-8 months, working full-time onsite in our Digital Buildings Innovation Lab.
What will you do?
Apply domain expertise in commercial buildings to contribute to the innovation and integration projects within our engineering lab
Demonstrate a solid understanding of HVAC principles and their application in building automation systems
Collaborate with technical partners and other business units to showcase innovation and interoperability in the digital/commercial buildings domain

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Building Automation)
Experience in commercial building automation and integration projects
Familiarity with IoT technologies and their application in building systems is a plus
Python, Java script and UX/UI design experience highly desirable
Proficient in hands-on wiring and troubleshooting of building automation systems
Strong data analysis skills for informed decision-making
Genuine interest in professional growth within the commercial building sector
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders
Experience in a prior Customer-facing role
Ability to work full-time based in Andover, MA starting January 2025
