Skilled Worker / Semi-Skilled Worker | Full-Time | Supply Chain and Logistics
General Purpose:
Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products based on internal customer needs
Responsibilities:
· Ability to create a safe work area following all safety rules & procedures; focuses on safety of self
· Support and participate in 5S activities in area
· Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
· Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
· Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
· Sort and store material in a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis
· Fill requisition, work order, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line
· Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing station or shipping department
· Personal desire / value to produce quality work; focus inventory accuracy of your own material movements
· Mark materials with identifying information
· Open bales, crates, and other containers
· Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed
· Learn process area according to training plan; adaptable to change assignments
· Accept and adhere to process changes; making improvement ideas to help department
· Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
· Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers
· Use computer to enter records
· Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications
· Contribute to team to meet production goals
· Work constructively with fellow team members in a diverse environment
· Drive vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment
· Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments
· Prepare parcels for mailing
· Maintain inventory records
· Safely expedite the transport of hazardous materials and waste, from accumulation sites within strict regulation requirements
· Inspect, weigh, load, document, transport of hazardous materials and waste through shipping and receiving documents, bill of lading, and manifests
· Comply with state and federal regulations for handling, storage, disposal, transport etc. of hazardous materials and waste
· And all other duties as assigned
Essential Functions:
· Able to lift and move 30 lbs.
· Must be able to see and hear alarms, timers and follow verbal instructions
· Able to climb up and down stairs
· Able to safely operate all heavy equipment according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
· Regular and reliable attendance
· Must be able to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the duration of the task.
Education, Training, and Skills Required:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
· Intermediate computer skills & Intermediate skill with Microsoft programs

Pay Range $21.50- 23.50 $3.00 shift differentail - Night shift currently available.
